So is Spaceman a studio or a recording service?

Yes! Spaceman Sound is a physical recording studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that is primarily a facility for music production, and it is also an on-location recording service that provides sound recording for film, TV, live events, and podcasts.

I’m interested in using some specific pieces of equipment. Do I need to mention that ahead of time?

Yes - there are many ways to skin a cat when recording, and we use a variety of tools to do each job. Also sometimes a piece of gear is out for repair and isn’t in house, so if you want to use something specific from our gear list, please let us know ahead of time.
